Issues

Working hard to provide an expansive list with more complete details soon.

Abortion

Protect women’s rights and reproductive freedom! I support access to safe, legal abortions without exceptions.

Public Education

Children are the heart and soul of our communities… and our future. We need to fund our public schools and invest in our teachers.

Elections

The right to vote is a foundation of democracy. Expanding access and making it as easy as possible should be the priority.

PA School Funding System

Ruled unconstitutional by the Commonwealth Court.

The legislature has a constitutional obligation to make sure every school is funded thoroughly and efficiently.

Minimum Wage

$7.25 is pathetic. A Pennsylvanian working full-time and making minimum wage shouldn’t have to worry about how they will afford their most basic needs.

Time to make a difference… $15+ minimum wage.

Healthcare

The United States healthcare system is dysfunctional. Medical debt is destroying the lives of millions.

Medicare for All is the answer. But, until then… we fight for affordable and accessible healthcare. It’s our right.

Housing

We have a housing crisis. Housing costs have become untenable for buyers and renters, with prices rising faster than wage growth.

Adequate housing is a human right.

Rural PA

Our population is in decline. But rural Pennsylvania is resilient.  Strengthening rural Pennsylvania requires a multifaceted approach—combining infrastructure investment, economic diversification, and community engagement.

Climate Change

Climate change is real and a threat to human society as we know it. Our entire way of life will be forever changed.

It’s time we prioritize the environment.

Infrastructure

Infrastructure is another low-ranking element of Pennsylvania. President Biden’s Infrastructure law is certainly helping, delivering over $14 billion to various projects, but more is needed. Investing in infrastructure has a strong impact on economic growth. We need to invest more in transformative infrastructure – infrastructure that provides lasting social and economic value for everyone. Because if you build it… we increase the odds of good economic development and opportunities.

Gun Violence Prevention

There is roughly one gun-related death every 11 minutes in the U.S. Approximately 1,544 people die by guns in Pennsylvania every year. Gun violence prevention is a complex issue, requiring a comprehensive approach that will respect gun rights and ensure public safety.
